File used by Picture in Motion Browser, a Sony program used to play and analyze videos; contains an index of recorded analysis data; created alongside a .MODD file to analyze a .M2TS movie.

If either the MOFF or MODD file are missing, the M2TS video file can still be played; however, the video analysis data is not available.

NOTE:

MOFF files do not contain video data..moff
