Script used by Inno Setup, a free program used to create Windows program installers; contains a series of text commands that specify installation files, target installation locations, and other settings; used to control all aspects of the installation.

ISS files store all of the information that is used to compile a program installer in the Inno Setup Compiler; by default, compiled programs are generated to an Output directory within the ISS script directory.

ISS files can be edited using the Inno Setup Compiler or any text editor; they are similar to .INI files.
